Violence prevention for schools

Would you like to integrate the topic of violence into your classes and familiarise your students with the campaign’s content? Here teachers can find materials and information for young people (from secondary level I), as well as links to relevant projects.

Prevention projects for classes

The following projects, designed for young people, promote the prevention of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence. They are financially supported by the Federal Office for Gender Equality (FOGE).

Herzsprung/As de coeur/Batticuore

A nationwide project to prevent violence among young couples. The programme – which could form part of a school project week – involves five sessions led by specially trained facilitators.

ja, nein, vielleicht

The aim of this project is to prevent sexual violence among children and adolescents. The project website (in German) provides information on workshops and resources for children and adolescents, as well as further training for teachers.

fair-lieben

Workshops for students (from 5th grade) on violence in the family and among couples. These workshops are designed for (potential) victims and perpetrators.

ALTernatives

An online videogame designed to raise awareness of domestic violence among young people (from secondary level II). The game is currently only available in French.
